Lifeguard
The American Red Cross Lifeguard course provides entry-level lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide professional-level care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until emergency medical services (EMS) personnel take over.

What You'll Learn
Learn how to effectively prevent and respond to water emergencies with the American Red Cross lifeguard training. Our courses are designed to arm you with the skills and knowledge to prepare you for a variety of scenarios in and around the water. With our lifeguard training, you will learn how quick response times and effective preparation are vital to being a lifeguard while also understanding the crucial elements in helping to prevent drownings and injuries.
Prerequisites
- Must be at least 15 years old on or before the final scheduled session of this course.
2. Swim-Tread-Swim Sequence Swim 150 yards using the front crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both. Swimming on the back or side is not permitted. Swim goggles are allowed. Maintain position at the surface of the water for 2 minutes by treading water using only the legs. Swim 50 yards using the front crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both.

Refunds are not permitted in any circumstance for this course, with the only exception being Justin's Scuba Time INC. canceling the course due to lack of student registration.
Online learning will be provided and must be completed before the first day of class, if it is not students will not be permitted to begin the course.
