As a PADI IDC Staff Instructor, Justin has a passion for sharing the underwater world with everyone around him. This passion includes ensuring that everyone is as safe as possible during all aquatic activity. This passion has driven Justin to acquire a myriad of certifications, such as American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor, CPR & First Aid Instructor for both American Red Cross and Emergency First Response. As a SCUBA instructor, Justin's primary focus has always been on ensuring that students have excellent water survival skills. He also excels at teaching students who have a long-time fear of the water.

Derek is one of our PADI IDC Staff Instructors, PADI Specialty Instructor, and EFR Intructor. He loves to teach both new and experienced divers about the fun and exciting ways to spend time underwater. Whether it be in the pool or in the open water his students always have a fun, exciting, and safe time. His main goal is to be an in house PADI Course Director for Scuba Time and also travel around the world training others to be PADI Intructors. Derek also earned his Elite Intructor Status for the 2022 certification year. 

Steve is one of our PADI IDC Staff Instructors, he holds specialty instructor ratings in multiple different fields. He also holds an EFR Instructor rating, this being added to his collection of CPR/First Aid/AED Intructor certifications. One of his main goals to be the owner of a PADI Dive Center in Florida. We are happy to have Steve on the Scuba Time team! Steve also earned his Elite Intructor Status for the 2022 certification year. 

Caleb walked into the store out of the blue after moving from Georgia to California. He had recently completed his OWSI program before his long move. Caleb is now a PADI Intructor here at Scuba Time and enjoys teaching other Vets through his families non-profit program.

As a former Stockton city league swimmer, Suzy has always been well acquainted with the water. Also being a mother gives her natural teaching abilities and patients with the kids. Suzy has been working at Scuba Time since 2017. She knows all the "ins and outs" of our Swim School Program

Chris was very enthusiastic to join the Scuba Time team and quickly wanted to become a PADI Divemaster. He assists our PADI Instructors with maintaining saftey throughout the course. Chris's main goal is to see each and every student in the course succeed, and answer any questions along the way.

Loren got his PADI Open Water Certification with us in May of 2022. He then swiftly made his way through Advanced Open Water and Rescue Diver certifications within the next two months. Loren took his first diving vacation to the Philippines shortly after. When he returned he decided it was time to become a PADI Divemaster. Way to go Loren!

Aaron first earned his Open Water Certification in October 2021 as one of Instructor Steve's first Open Water students. He then quicky realized he wanted to continue his diving journey as he flew through his Advanced and Rescue certifications. Aaron completed his Divemaster course with Steve in December of 2022

Roger earned his Open Water certification with us in 2019. He logged many dives and waited 2 years before advancing towards his PADI continuing education. Roger loves to take his boat out to our local lakes and dive sites. Here is living proof that it is never too late to become a PADI Diving Professional

Christian started swimming when he was 5 years old! He joined a swim team at age 7 and has been competitively swimming ever since. Throughout his high school years, he was on swim and water polo teams. Christan says his favorite stroke is backstroke, and he enjoys eating in-n-out burger after swimming.

Austin was actually a swim student here at Justin's when we first opened our swim school! Since then he has been swimming competitively for his high school swim team and for the Linden summer swim league

Rachael first came to Justin's Scuba Time as a student for our Open Water Scuba course. Like most of our coaches, Rachael started swimming when she was 4 years old, and joined her high school swim team. Her goal is to get more scuba certifications and join ocean clean-ups around the country.

Julie is Justin's mother and a Dental Hygienist by trade. She is one of our Red Cross Instructors for classes on CPR, AED, FIRST AID and  Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers. You can often find her at the front desk helping customers or signing up swim school participants.

Joe is Justin's father. He's a retired building official and contractor. He does most of the maintence and insists the pool is sparkling clean, comfortable and safe.
